PS800 Drywall Machine

This Jobsite PS800 Drywall machine forms studs and track that use approximately 20% less material than the standard studs. PS800-light gauge type Steel Stud and track Roll forming machine makes the profile per the sketch below. This machine roll forms 1 5/8”- 2 ½”- 3 5/8″- 4” and 6″ Studs and track in a nonstructural  type profile (See sketch below).

This machine is capable of roll forming  steel from 26 to 24 gauge. The machine can be setup to form studs having a 1 ¼” or a 1 7/16” flange.

Jobsite includes the capability of Knurled surfaces on 24-26 gauge stud and track faces to assist screw fixing by stopping slipping and damage to material applied. The machine will handle minimum thickness of 30 gauge (0.015”) and a maximum thickness of 24 gauge (0.027) and mechanical strength of 57 KSI.

Speed & Efficiency

Producing at 75 feet per minute, this is the fastest machine on the market. The newly engineered servo driven punch simultaneously advances and punches with precision accuracy as the material continually moves through the machine. Not only does this dramatically increase the speed of the machine, but also increases the life of the equipment.

Range of Materials

Like always Jobsite equipment is able to run a large range of materials. This machine is capable of roll forming steel from 30 to 24 gauge.

Control and Accuracy

The PS Series steel stud machines are controlled by a Bosch Rex Roth touch screen control and can support 380/460V, 3~/50/60Hz, 30 Amp. The machine is driven by Bosch Rex Roth servo motor main drive allowing precision accuracy and control. This state-of-the-art technology allows the user to easily program, via touch screen control, 1 piece to 10,000 pieces at lengths from 3” and up within 1/32” accuracy. The Jobsite Stud and Track Roll Forming machines can be setup to interface with the Vertex BD Software.

Safety

Each machine comes equipped with sliding safety covers which will disengage the machine when opened and comply with OSHA safety standards. Emergency stop switches are located at each end and safety stack lights on the machine and decoiler indicates equipment in or out of operation.

Durability

For long life, the machines are engineered with the highest structural integrity and all the forming rollers are Ion Nitride 4130 hardened rollers.
